The body of a missing fisherman was recovered from Lacamas Lake on Monday.

David Gleghorn, 68, was reported missing after he didn't return from a fishing trip July 22.

According to police, Gleghorn left home with his inflatable boat around 8 a.m. Family became concerned when he did not return home that night.

Police searched the area of Lacamas Lake and found Gleghorn's vehicle parked at the public boat launch on Northwest Leadbetter Road. Police said there was evidence that his boat was launched from that location.

His body was found in the southeast end of the lake at 2:55 p.m. Monday, according to Camas police.

Camas-Washougal Fire Department and Clark County Sheriff's Office Marine Units assisted in the recovery efforts.

Police said last week that foul play was not suspected in this case. No additional information was released Monday.
