Car rear-ends school bus in Lake Oswego, four students injured

A school bus carrying several students was involved in a crash in Lake Oswego Wednesday.

Emergency crews responded to the scene at Southwest Lesser Road and Westlake Drive around 9:15 a.m.

Lake Oswego fire department said a car slid on a patch of ice and rear-ended a Portland Public Schools bus carrying students from Jackson Middle School.

According to Lake Oswego police, four children were injured, with one taken to OHSU for treatment.

Investigators have not yet determined if the driver in the incident will be cited.
