A surveillance camera was rolling when a car slammed into a Tualatin restaurant Friday morning.

The crash happened at La Sen Vietnamese Grill on the 7600 block of Southwest Nyberg Road at 8:23 a.m.

Police said the driver mistakenly hit the gas pedal instead of the brake while trying to park his car.

The driver, 23-year-old Okino Martin of Portland, was cited on charges of driving without a license and driving without insurance.

The restaurant was closed at the time of the crash and nobody was hurt.

The owner of the restaurant told FOX 12 he is expecting to have to shut down the business for two weeks to make repairs.
