Crews suspend search for man in Willamette

Water rescue crews have recovered the body of a man who fell into the Willamette River near the Canby Ferry on Saturday.

Crew began their search just before 8 p.m. after a report came in that a 46-year-old man fell off a dock. He was reportedly not wearing a life jacket.

Rescue crews from Clackamas County Sheriff's Office and Lake Oswego Police spent 90 minutes searching for the man until lack of daylight led to poor search conditions.

Crews resumed their search at 7:30 a.m. Sunday.

Clackamas Co. Sheriff's Office said the body of Jason Allen Kosola, of Lake Oswego, was found just after 11 a.m.
