Washington County deputies are searching for a suspect after a stabbing early Wednesday morning.

The Washington County Sheriff's Office said deputies responded to a report of an assault in the 3300 block of Southwest Garden View Avenue at around 1:16 a.m.

When deputies arrived to the scene, they found a 33-year-old man suffering from stab wounds. The victim was taken to an area hospital for treatment of non-life-threatening injuries.

According to the sheriff's office, the victim told deputies he went over to a friend's house where someone came out of the tree line and stabbed him several times.

Deputies, along with a Beaverton police K9, searched the area for the suspect, but did not locate anyone.

The sheriff's office said it was later determined that the suspect, identified as 33-year-old Julio Aguilar-Garcia, stole and fled in a gold 2012 Cadillac Escalade with Oregon license plate 266EZY.

Deputies believe the victim and Aguilar-Garcia know each other.

Anyone who sees the suspect, the suspect vehicle or has information about this incident is asked to cal 503-629-0111 or 911.
