Felony warrant issued for vandalism suspect from Portland anti-Trump riot

The Portland Police Bureau is asking for the public's help finding a 20-year-old man wanted in connection with the destruction of property during the November 10 protest and riot.

Police said Mateen Abdul Shaheed has a felony warrant for his arrest in connection with multiple incidents of vandalism that happened during the anti-Trump riot on Nov. 10.

Shaheed was identified by numerous anonymous tips to investigators after photos from the riot were released to the public.

Detectives served a search warrant at his home on Monday but Shaheed has not been found.

Shaheed is described as an African American man, 6 feet 1 inches tall and 200 pounds.

Crime Stoppers of Oregon is offering a reward for information that leads to an arrest.
