OSU baseball fans, players rejoice after Beavers pull off win in Game 2 of CWS Finals

It was pure elation for Beaver Nation Wednesday night in Nebraska, after Oregon State claimed a stunning victory in Game 2 of the College World Series Finals.

The Beavers got down to their last strike in the ninth inning, but then – wham.

Momentum is a real thing. Arkansas was on the verge of winning its first ever national title, but a mishap in foul territory granted the Beavers new life and they claimed the game 5-3.

The Oregon State fans were outnumbered by a good 18,000 of the 25,000 in the ballpark but their cheers rang out.

With Wednesday’s win the Beavers are now 5-0 in elimination games in Omaha, and 6-0 would mean a third national title.

Players are riding high after the rally of the end of Game 2.
