Police have arrested a woman with a warrant who is accused of starting a fire during a destructive protest in Portland over the weekend.

Damaree Mitchell, 19, was booked into the Multnomah County Jail on Sunday on her outstanding arrest warrant.

Detectives then contacted Mitchell and issued her criminal citations on charges of reckless burning and second-degree disorderly conduct in connection with the protests.

Police released a photo of that shows her near a small fire burning on a Portland street.

The Portland Police Bureau is continuing to ask for the public's help to identify suspects involved in criminal activity during last week's protests and riot.

Anyone with information, pictures or video that could be used to identify suspects is asked to submit them to detectives at CrimeTips@portlandoregon.gov.

Investigators do not need links to already published media sites.

Images of suspects wanted in connection with the violent protests and riot have been posted at portlandoregon.gov/police/canyouidme.
