Portland police arrested 10 men in an undercover prostitution sting.

The operation was carried out by the Portland Police Bureau's Sex Trafficking Unit from Sept. 5 to Sept. 9.

Police posted online ads on known sex trafficking websites and 10 men contacted undercover officers to arrange payments for sexual acts, according to investigators.

Police were assisted by a Portland hotel as part of the operation.

The 10 men who responded to the ad and went to the hotel were arrested on misdemeanor charges of patronizing a prostitute.

Nine of the suspects were given citations to appear in court at a later time. One man, 38-year-old Justin Michael Fincannon of Portland, was booked into the Multnomah County Jail on the charge of patronizing a prostitute, as well as charges of distribution and possession of methamphetamine.

The other suspects were identified as Mario Abal Forzan, 55, of Vancouver; Humberto San Juan Martin, 25, of Portland; Ricardo Gonzalez-Flores, 32, of Tigard; Russ Michael Mulkey, 68, of Portland; Adan John Falatovich, 34, of Vancouver, Brian Erik Jamison, 50, of Portland; Troy Alan Kimito Matsumura, 33, of Portland; Emmanuel Rodriguez Barreto, 30, of Vancouver; Kidane Tewelde Michael, 34, of Portland.

For investigative reasons, the Sex Trafficking Unit is not releasing the specific website, application or ad text used in this operation.
