PORTLAND, OR (KPTV) – Police say a person of interest is in custody in a shooting that happened in early March.
PPB said by acting on a tip from a community member, detectives arrested 34-year-old Noah Charles Smith Wednesday afternoon.
Smith was identified as a person of interest in a shooting that took place at Southwest Barbur Boulevard and Southwest Capital Highway on Sunday, March 7.
He is now facing multiple charges including attempted murder in the second degree, assault in the first degree, robbery in the first degree, unlawful use of a weapon-firearm and felon in possession of a firearm. Smith is being kept in the Multnomah County Jail.
