A reward up to $2,500 is being offered to catch the shooter who killed a 28-year-old man in northeast Portland.
Luccas Demetrius McNeill was found next to a vehicle on the 2100 block of Northeast 81st Avenue at 11:54 p.m. Sunday after police responded to multiple reports of gunfire.
McNeill was pronounced dead at the scene. The medical examiner determined McNeill died of gunshot wounds.
Evidence of gunfire was found at the scene and witnesses described hearing a car speed away after the shots were fired. No suspect information has been released.
McNeill was working as a security guard at the time of his death, helping to support his mother and sister. A GoFundMe account has been created for the family.
Crime Stoppers of Oregon is offering a reward up to $2,500 for information that leads to an arrest in this case and tipsters can remain anonymous.
