Two people were arrested and stolen property, including a U-Haul truck, was recovered from multiple burglaries in rural Yamhill County, according to deputies.

Yamhill County Sheriff's Office deputies served a warrant at a home on the 16700 block of Singletree Lane in Yamhill at 7 a.m. Sunday.

Investigators said they found a large quantity of stolen items in and around the home. The stolen property consisted mostly of tools, auto part and construction equipment, according to deputies.

Investigators linked the stolen items to at least three burglaries in Yamhill and Carlton.

Christopher Allen Douglas, 34, and Patriscia Howard Beierle, 44, were arrested at the scene.

Another search warrant was served on the 18000 block of Northwest Fairdale Road in connection with the investigation.

Deputies said additional stolen property was located, including a U-Haul truck stolen out of Gresham with additional stolen property inside.

Douglas was booked into the Yamhill County Jail on three outstanding arrest warrants for charges of attempting to elude police, recklessly endangering another, reckless driving and violation of probation. Additional charges related to the thefts and burglaries will be added at a later date, according to the sheriff's office.

Beierle was arrested on charges of hindering prosecution, possession of methamphetamine and theft by receiving. She was released on her own recognizance.
