Armed suspect at large after ramming Gresham officer's patrol vehicle with stolen minivan

Portland police are looking for two men suspected in the armed robbery of a northwest Portland restaurant late Sunday.

Officers responded just before midnight to the Papa Haydn restaurant at 701 Northwest 23rd Avenue to a report that two masked men had robbed the business at gunpoint before fleeing.

Witnesses at the scene told investigators that only one of the men was armed. Officers at the scene could not locate anyone that matched the description of the suspects.

Police described the armed suspect as a man who was 5 feet 5 inches tall with a medium build who was wearing a dark-colored t-shirt, light-colored jeans and a Halloween mask.

The other suspect was a white man in his 30s who was 5 feet 8 inches tall with a medium build. He was wearing a hooded sweatshirt, blue jeans and a Halloween mask.
