Three men arrested for allegedly robbing Corvallis Subway

A trio of men conspired together to rob a Subway shop in Corvallis earlier this week, police said Saturday.

Officers were called to a reported robbery early Tuesday morning. An employee was approached by a masked man carrying a handgun who demanded money.

Steven Lance Thompson, 39, was arrested Wednesday on a charge of first-degree robbery.

Detectives from both the Corvallis Police Department and Philomath Police Department continued to investigate the robbery, which led to multiple search warrants. Detectives found 18-year-old Kevin Maurice Mitchell of Corvallis and 28-year-old Patrick Ambrose Daly of Albany were also involved in the incident.

According to police, Thompson, Mitchell and Daly planned to carry out the armed robbery.

Daly was arrested Friday and Mitchell was arrested Saturday. Both suspects were taken into custody without incident.

All three men are being held in the Benton County Jail.

Thompson has been charged with first-degree robbery, first-degree burglary, menacing, unlawful use of a weapon and second-degree theft. His bail is set at $175,000.

Mitchell has been charged with the same counts as Thompson and his bail is set at $275,000.

Daly has been charged with first-degree robbery and his bail is set at $200,000.
