Troopers ID three people killed in crash on Highway 26 near Buxton

Oregon State troopers released the names of the three people killed on Highway 26 near Buxton on Friday.

OSP said preliminary findings indicated a gray 2014 Kia Cadenza was traveling eastbound on the highway when it crossed the centerline for an unknown reason on Thursday. The Kia collided head-on into a westbound red 2010 Lexus HS 250.

The driver, who was the only occupant of the Kia, identified as Stephanie Breiger, 45, from Ocean Park, WA was killed.

Two of the four occupants of the Lexus- the driver, identified as Ignacio Torres, 48, and the left rear passenger, a 16-year-old boy - were also killed.

The other two occupants of the Lexus, identified as Stacy Torres, 45, and a 12-year-old boy from Vancouver, WA were seriously injured.

No further information was released and the investigation is ongoing.
