Two separate crashes knocked out power in Portland early Sunday morning.

The first crash happened in the area of Southeast 82nd and Hawthorne just after 1:15 a.m. Police say a drunk driver went off the road and hit a power pole.

Crews from PGE are still trying to restore power in the area.

According to police, the driver was arrested.

Police say while officers had the area blocked to traffic, another drunk driver went around the police car, flares and lights. They also arrested that driver.
