Two people were taken to the hospital Monday morning after an RV caught fire in Oregon City.

Clackamas Fire crews responded to the report of a fire, located in the 14400 block of Maplelane Road, just before 6:30 a.m.

When crews arrived on scene, they found an RV that was parked next to a barn on fire. The fire spread to some nearby trees, but crews were able to save the barn.

Fire officials said the fire was located in a rural area, and while there were hydrants, they were spread out so it took crews a little while to put the flames out.

Two people received minor injuries and were taken to an area hospital for treatment.

An investigator has responded to the scene to determine the cause of the fire.
