UCC victim's service dog to be honored at local dog festival

A service dog of one of the UCC shooting victims will be receiving a special honor at Sutherlin’s Annual Dog Festival.

Sarena Moore was confined to a wheelchair and took her 6-year-old service dog Bullet everywhere. Bullet was in the classroom the day she was shot and killed.

Friends of Moore announced Wednesday on her GoFundMe page that Bullet has been invited the Sutherlin festival to be honored.

Bullet is being looked after by Moore’s fiancé.
