But we are grateful all the floating homes at our WOOO member PYC are ok. Covered marinas are susceptible to collapse due to the inherent need to have most of the area underneath them open for boat slips. This means that less than 20% of the area underneath can be flotation and support for 100% of the roof. Floating homes and other floating structures have 100% support under them and have the ability to add much more flotation if needed. Good report Fox12, you keep us in the know!
