Thursday, December 2nd, 3:30 P.M.

We’ve been seeing a mix of sunshine and clouds today.  There are still a few sprinkles showing up on radar, but these will dissipate after sunset.  We didn’t officially pick up any rain out of the cold front that passed through this morning.

Cooler air is filtering into the region and you’ll notice a more typical December feel outside over the next week.  We’re done with the really warm weather.  Rain will fall about every other day over the next week and snow begins to accumulate once again in the Cascades.

There will be spots of dense fog in the valleys tonight, and it will linger in some spots south of Portland through midday tomorrow.  Otherwise we’ll have a bright and comfortable Friday under mostly sunny skies.

A rainy system Saturday will be followed by dry weather Sunday, then another cool and rain system Monday.  Snow may even stick (for the first time this season!) down below 2,000’ on Monday morning.
