Good morning! We made it to the weekend!

At 4:30 this morning we have yet to see any fog develop. We have clouds still over the region, helping to keep temperatures up and the fog at bay. As we get those clouds clearing out though, we still have several hours to see fog developing this morning.

We expect patchy fog for areas this morning if we get enough clearing in the sky. But, by lunch time, skies should be pretty clear and we will get lots of sunshine through the day today. Highs should reach the low 50s for most of us here in the valleys.

We have high pressure in place for the next week, which means we will likely see plenty of fog and low clouds with nighttime inversions this week. That will likely keep our temperatures cooler, while the mountains will get lots of sunshine and warmer temperatures. There will likely be days this week, that the valleys see fog and low clouds for the entire day.

One thing we will watch for through the week is the possibility of deteriorating air quality.

Have a great Saturday!
