For the first time since last fall we've got 5 consecutive warm and dry days ahead. All the details including what we're seeing into the first week of May
It was a chilly and wet three weeks, but we've got two more days of the warm & sunny weather. On a positive note, the cool/wet weather has been excellent for building snowpack in the mountains

After a very mild January, for the first time in over a month we see the possibility of cold air and even snow in the lowlands (maybe). Here's the latest
Most areas west of the Cascades remain locked in ice through tonight. Many areas thaw tomorrow, but there will be one more round of thick icing in the east metro and Columbia River Gorge.
An ice storm is on the way for Thursday night through at least part of Saturday. But the "silver thaw" will happen at different times around our viewing area. Some spots will be locked in ice through Christmas Day!
There's a good chance we've got a mix of snow and (more likely) freezing rain on the way for parts of the region this coming Thursday through Saturday. Yes, that's Christmas Eve.
Cold arctic air will be poised just north of Oregon much of next week. If/when it tries to moves into the region, a mix of snow or freezing rain could follow for some of us
We've got at least four more dry days, then the forecast is far more interesting for early next week. Could we get lowland snow or an arctic blast? We've got a few thoughts on that in this evening's blog post
It's a First Alert Weather Day Thursday for the lowlands. Just a few pockets of sticking snow Thursday morning, but we want you to be aware of that possibility
