Two people attacked with machete at motel in Portland

PORTLAND Ore. (KPTV) - Two people were injured by a person with a machete Friday afternoon at a motel in Portland.

The attack happened at a motel in the 1500 block of Northeast Burnside Road.

Fortunately, the two people injured only sustained minor cuts.

The suspect fled the scene prior to police arriving for a disturbance with a weapon call.

The incident is under investigation.
