CLARK COUNTY, Ohio (WHIO) - An 83-year-old Ohio man will likely spend the rest of his life behind bars for the 2024 shooting death of an Uber driver.
A Clark County judge sentenced William Brock on Monday to 21 years to life in prison.
Brock was convicted last month on all charges — including murder, felonious assault and kidnapping — in the death of Lo-Letha Hall.
Brock testified that he shot Hall in self-defense, telling the jury he believed there was a scheme to kill him and his family.
The jury in the case deliberated for about an hour before reaching a guilty verdict.
The sentencing proceeded after Brock’s motion for a new trial and acquittal was overruled.
