Battle Ground man charged with raping 14-year-old child

BATTLE GROUND Wash. (KPTV) - A 41-year-old Battle Ground man was arrested on Wednesday and charged with raping a 14-year-old child several years ago, according to city officials.

According to officials, detectives with the Battle Ground Police Department charged Christopher Lee Morrissey with third-degree rape of a child. This arrest follows an investigation that started in 2022, officials said.

The case is still being investigated, and detectives believe that Morrissey may have had more alleged victims in the southwest Washington area.
