HILLSBORO Ore. (KPTV) - Kevin Lee was sentenced to 146 months in prison after pleading guilty to numerous charges connected to four criminal cases.

The cases include five burglaries, two attempted burglaries, multiple stolen vehicles, the deliberate ramming of an occupied car, and various other thefts.

Lee was charged with robbery in the second degree, burglary in the first degree, unauthorized use of a vehicle, and theft in the first degree.

SEE ALSO:

The first report was from a Beaverton home on May 18, 2024. The victim called the police after they realized the house had been ransacked. They heard a loud engine noise from the garage and saw Lee attempting to steal their car.

The victim tried to intervene but backed away after Lee threatened that he had a gun. Lee backed the stolen car through the garage door and hit a second vehicle before leaving the Beaverton home.

As Lee fled the scene, he almost hit a car passing him on the road. The driver honked at Lee and swerved out of the way.

Lee followed the driver and eventually pulled beside him by driving into oncoming traffic. He intentionally slammed his car into the victim’s vehicle. Both cars were heavily damaged.

Lee eventually parked the damaged stolen car at a home in Tigard, which he unsuccessfully attempted to enter.

He then kicked in the door of a nearby home and stole a second car parked in the driveway.

Lee took the second stolen car across Tigard and attempted to enter another home but was challenged by the homeowners.

A Portland Police Bureau air unit found Lee hiding in the backyard of a nearby home by using thermal cameras. Lee was arrested at gunpoint.

At the time of his arrest, Lee was on release with five additional criminal cases.
