Woman arrested after man found shot, injured in Portland’s Lloyd District
PORTLAND Ore. (KPTV) - A man was injured, and a 47-year-old woman was arrested on Wednesday night after a shooting in northeast Portland, according to police.
At 9:30 p.m., officers with the Portland Police Bureau were sent to the Lloyd District near Northeast Wasco Street and Northeast 7th Avenue after a caller reported that a man had walked up to them suffering from a gunshot wound.
The man was rushed to the hospital, where he is expected to recover.
Meanwhile, after a short investigation, officers were sent to an apartment complex near Northeast Clackamas Street and Northeast 7th Avenue, where they found the site of the shooting, PPB said.
Backed up by a tactical police unit, officers found and arrested the suspect, identified as Carlena Autry (also known as Carlena Jeffries) of Portland.
According to PPB, the victim and suspect knew each other.
Autry was booked into the Multnomah County Detention Center on the following charges:
- Second-degree attempted murder
- First-degree attempted assault
- Second-degree assault
- Felon in possession of a firearm
- Unlawful use of a weapon
