Deputies arrest two after stolen car rams patrol SUV in Multnomah County
MULTNOMAH COUNTY Ore. (KPTV) - Two people were arrested Monday after the driver of a stolen car allegedly rammed a patrol SUV and several parked cars while trying to escape deputies in east Multnomah County, authorities said.
The investigation started around 10 a.m. Monday when a caller reported two people passed out in a car parked in a accessible parking space.
Deputies arrived and parked behind the car, which they later found out was stolen. Authorities said the driver immediately started the car and and rammed the patrol SUV before hitting several other parked cars while trying to escape.
The driver, identified as 23-year-old Angel Bourdage, drove east on Northeast Halsey Street before turning north on Northeast 238th Drive. Deputies then used a “PIT” maneuver to stop the car near Interstate 84, the sheriff’s office said.

After the car was stopped, Bourdage allegedly got out of the car and ran toward a nearby railroad track while the passenger stayed in the car. Deputies said Bourdage was wearing a tactical vest with a holster when he ran.
Investigators found an airsoft gun in the car.
Deputies with help from the Gresham Police Department later found Bourdage and arrested him. The 35-year old woman in the car was also arrested.
Bourdage was booked into jail on charges including and outstanding warrant. Police said the woman would also be booked into jail.
