HILLSBORO, Ore. (KPTV) - The brush fire that broke out south of Hillsboro earlier Monday evening has been contained, firefighters say.
Multiple fire crews responded to a three-alarm brush fire south of Hillsboro on the east side of Minter Bridge road at about 5:30 p.m.
The fire initially burned three to four acres, but grew up to 10 acres, according to Hillsboro Fire and Rescue (HFR).
Firefighters say the fire wasn’t a threat to any structures and no evacuations were needed, but traffic was slowed as a result.
Tualatin Valley Fire & Rescue and HFR are coordinating and making progress in putting the fire out.
