Man tries to break into Columbia County Jail, gets arrested later that day

COLUMBIA COUNTY Ore. (KPTV) - A person tried to break into the Columbia County Jail on Tuesday morning.
The Columbia County Sheriff’s Office posted a video showing who they say is Tyler Green, kicking and hitting the lobby door of the jail to get inside.
Officials say he was released from a DUI detox hold earlier in the day and eventually came back.
The man eventually left and was later arrested in St. Helens.
He is now facing criminal mischief charges and did end up back in jail.
